Personal Password


What's my ACCESS Student ID# (A#) and Password?
When students are first admitted to USU, they are assigned an A# and a temporary password. If you are a student that was admitted to USU prior to or currently attending please Click Here. You will be directed to the page that will direct you how to acquire your A#. In order to acquire your password, please click here. The password starts as

  • First letter of your first name (uppercase)
  • First letter of last name (uppercase)
  • Birth Month (MM)
  • Birth Day (DD)
  • Six-Digit Birth Date (MMDDYY)
and upon logging into the password site, you will be required to change this. For example, if your birth date is August 13, 1979, and your name is Abel Baker, try entering "AB0813081379".Every 180 days the system will prompt you to change this password. Your password must be 8 characters long, must start with an alpha character (a-Z), have at least three numbers, and may contain Numbers, Letters, and other Special Characters(No spaces please).
